PROJECT #1
40+ families from the community
of Los Oreganos benefitted from the construction of a paved walkway which enabled access to the community’s school.

PROJECT #2
750+ students at the Centro Educativo Marcelina Emilia Muñoz Colon now have access to a state-of-the-art turf field, promoting their physical health, teamwork, and positive development.
JANUARY 2025
This project diverts vulnerable youth from risks that they face, including drug abuse, alcohol, and gang initiation. Overall, this field will foster a safer and more constructive environment for children.
PROJECT #3
In May 2025, CDS completed “Casa Clavo” — a three-bedroom, one-bathroom home built for a family of five. This new house provides Wilson, Arleny, and their three children — Yandely (age 6), Yandel (age 5), and Yangel (age 4) — with a safe and stable place to call home. Beyond improving their daily living conditions, Casa Clavo opens the door to new possibilities, enabling the family to focus on education, employment, and a brighter future together.
PROJECT #4
The ongoing project in the community of La Javilla is CDS’s largest housing initiative to date, focused on improving living conditions for 10 families through structural repairs, home restorations, and two full rebuilds over a 10–15 week period. This ambitious effort requires extensive planning and community coordination.

PROJECT #5
In October 2025, CDS completed “Casa Amelia” — a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home built for a family of four in the community of Las Corcovas. This new home provides a safe and stable environment where Anayelo, Norkely, Amelia (age 5), and Aaron (age 2) can grow and thrive. With improved shelter and secure living conditions, they can now focus on education, health, and new opportunities for income— continuing CDS’s mission to transform lives through service and compassion.
